Can I use Barton Digital project management without a home showroom?
Yes. Project Operations is a standalone subscription for CRM, customers, projects, work orders, scheduling, time, files, reporting, and supported integrations. It does not include or display a public home showroom or model catalog.
Can project templates be selected by home type and project type?
Yes. Template matching can use both the home type and project type, with a generic fallback when an exact template is not available.
Do employees get their own task calendar?
Yes. Field employees can view their assigned tasks and schedule. Management roles can review a broader calendar across the company, subject to role permissions.
Can completed work orders be archived and still found?
Yes. Archived work orders remain available through search and an include-archived filter. Authorized users can restore them if needed.
Can employee time sync to Gusto?
The platform includes tenant-specific Gusto OAuth, employee or contractor mapping, approved shift synchronization, and payroll-period sync controls. Live payroll use requires Barton’s Gusto production approval and each company must authorize its own Gusto account.
Does project financial tracking support QuickBooks workflows?
Yes. Each company authorizes its own QuickBooks Online connection. Authorized users can queue customer records, customer sub-projects, estimates, invoices, linked payments, vendors, and purchase orders through a retry-safe background process. Project contract, invoicing, payment, committed-cost, actual-cost, margin, external IDs, and sync errors remain visible in the company workspace.
